Wendy also is a nurse and works nights. So if you see her looking a little tired at the meetings it’s probably because she worked the night before. On her free time she loves to cook, watch her kids play sports, and she loves all things football, especially Georgia football.Three unique things about Wendy are 1. She lived in Germany for 41/2 years. 2. I can be really shy at times. 3. As much as I like being out doing things I really like being at home.
A few parenting tips from Wendy are…

  1. Remember not all kids are the same so what works for one may not work for your child.
  2. Give yourself a break! It’s ok if things are not perfect all the time.
  3. Enjoy every stage of your child because one day you will be sending them off to College wishing you could go back to when they were little.

After a 16 year career in homeschooling, she now has more time to pursue other passions such as professional home organizing, financial and marital counseling, and encouraging young moms in this all important motherhood adventure.  It wasn’t so long ago for her that she doesn’t remember the pressures and stresses that come with the job.  She wants to do whatever she can to help you along the way!
Parenting Tips:
  1. There is no perfect parent but only a perfect God Who chose YOU for your kids!  He amazingly fills in the gaps where you feel lacking…SO GIVE YOURSELF GRACE!!
  2. Any behavior you don’t want repeated cannot be allowed.  What’s cute now may not be so cute 10 years from now!
  3. Take care of Momma!  She really does have to be happy for everyone else to be happy!!
